Editorial standard
Our research.
Our responsibility.
The goal is accurate orientation—not endorsements, invented rankings or a substitute for professional due diligence.
Publisher and advisory role
CalgaryHomeBuilders.ca is published by Real Estate Partners. Austin Sorrenti and the REP team work in Calgary real estate, including new-construction purchases and co-operation with builder sales teams. The directory remains a research product: profiles are not endorsements, and a builder’s inclusion does not mean that builder sponsors or operates the site.
Source hierarchy
Builder and developer websites are used for company history, products and announced communities. Warranty providers, BILD Calgary Region, CHBA, municipalities and public planning records are preferred for membership, awards and civic facts. Undated third-party ratings and unsupported market-share rankings are not displayed. Award records need a source link and an identified result; a source link is not itself proof that a historical record was reverified today.
Profile labels
Editorial builder profile identifies a profile with dedicated company context and a named primary source. Company research record has more limited directory material. Neither label certifies workmanship, current inventory, service or warranty coverage. Incomplete placeholder records are excluded from the public builder directory.
Corrections, relationships and independence
Builders may submit corrections and source material, but editorial labels describe what was checked. Real Estate Partners may co-operate with builders or receive compensation in a buyer transaction. Any relationship relevant to a buyer’s decision should be explained directly; it does not change the directory’s factual standards. Paid placement, if introduced, must be identified and must not alter verification.
Freshness and uncertainty
A guide update date records an editorial revision; it is not a claim that every builder, community or linked source was reverified that day. Company product ranges and future plans need current confirmation. Community narratives may contain planned amenities or historical relationships. Unknown amounts are not zero, and no current price, star score or availability promise should be inferred from inclusion.
How to request a correction
Email austin@repyyc.com with the page address, the specific statement, the proposed correction and a public primary source. Do not send confidential contracts or personal documents. We review corrections against the available evidence. You can also use our builder project brief to organize public source information or explore builder collaboration.
