A shared starting point
Explain the project.
Prepare the conversation.
A practical brief for Calgary-area builder teams who want to improve their profile, clarify buyer appointments or explore educational content with Austin and Real Estate Partners.
← Builder collaborationOne project. One clear set of public facts.
The most useful introduction is specific. A company-level profile explains who you are; a project brief explains what a buyer needs to know about a particular location, product or process. Use this template to separate durable information from details that need current confirmation. You can complete only the relevant fields; a profile correction may need just a page link, an exact statement and a source.
For example, “our townhome collection offers two ownership structures; confirm the structure for the unit being considered” is more useful than “perfect for every buyer.” A source-linked distinction gives the sales team and buyer’s advisor something concrete to discuss. If a detail is not yet public, leave it out and identify the appropriate person to contact.
Prepare your introduction
Company name, project/community, your name and business role. Identify the legal builder if different.
Official project/profile URLs and the date the supplied information applies. Identify proposed rather than completed features.
Products, building format, ownership type and the project-specific choices buyers should understand. Avoid unverified superlatives.
Where buyers can find current written specifications. Explain optional upgrades or phase differences without sending confidential pricing or contracts.
Public sales contact, booking instructions, first-visit requirements and who should confirm the current policy.
Three common questions, a proposed tour topic and the person who can discuss filming permission and safe site access.
Relevant directory page, exact correction and source—or the collaboration you would like to discuss. Include a business reply address if appropriate.
Opening email does not attach the brief. Copy and paste it before sending.
If you are proposing a walkthrough
Suggest a buyer question rather than only a home address. Which floor-plan decision needs explaining? What is standard in this model, and what was selected for the showhome? Who can speak to the published specifications? Identify the permissions contact and any access restrictions. Filming, timing, usage rights and commercial scope would need to be agreed separately before anything is scheduled.
Review existing educational videosIf you are correcting a profile
Include the exact page address and distinguish a factual correction from a preferred marketing phrase. Link the official source and explain whether the change is company-wide, project-specific or historical. An update to one phase should not be presented as a promise about every home. REP reviews the available evidence; sending a brief does not guarantee publication or establish a partnership.

Before sending, check that the recipient can open each public source, that dated details are labelled and that the proposed next step is clear. Agree who answers project questions and who handles buyer-side advice. A shared appointment process can prevent confusion, but representation, registration and compensation still need to be discussed for the actual transaction.
